Jingyuan Zhao, Xing Gao (Xingming Obs.) report/s a classification of object: AT 2025sqe
Type: Other
Remarks: The spectrum shows a strong and narrow Hα emission line, with no other features. Given the slow evolution of the object's brightness, it might be a very slow nova, but other interesting classifications cannot be ruled out either. Further spectral observations and multi-color photometric observations are strongly encouraged to clarify its nature.
The following Classification spectrum was provided:
Obsdate: 2025-09-16 14:48:30
Instrument: Other
Telescope: Other
Remarks: We obtained a spectrum of the transient using the Alpy 600 spectrograph mounted on the 0.6-m f/8 Ritchey-Chretien telescope at Xingming Observatory.
