We report the classification of SN2026cha as a Type Ic-BL at a redshift of 0.0393. This redshift was calculated using Na D lines of the transient and galaxy lines, as reported in Astronote #2022-29. Fits were performed with SuperFit/NGSF (AstroNote #2022-191; Howell et al., 2005, ApJ, 634, 1190).
