The unknown nature of the transient was first discussed on the Galaxy Zoo platform and confirmed by Ine Theunissen: https://www.zooniverse.org/projects/zookeeper/galaxy-zoo/talk/1269/1766180?comment=3985922&page=32 Suspected detection in a Pan-STARRS DR1 g-filter frame from 2013-10-08 (see attached file). Coordinates are from the DECaLS DR7 imaging catalog.
