SN 2015bn

This supernova was discovered by CRTS on Dec 23rd 2014 as reported by
Le Guillou et al. 2015 (http://www.astronomerstelegram.org/?read=7102).
As such the supernova should have a 2014 designation.

The human confirmed discovery of this supernova is documented in the
CRTS classification circular and includes the exact discovery time:
http://nesssi.cacr.caltech.edu/catalina/Circulars/1412231010624110017.h…
The discovery was made public on the CRTS SN webpages
(http://nesssi.cacr.caltech.edu/catalina/AllSN.html)
sat that same exact time, and soon after on the very well known rochester supernova
pages: http://www.rochesterastronomy.org/supernova.html
The redetection of a supernova two and half months after a discovery
has been made public should not be considered as a co-discovery.
