611 2016-12-05 14:30:24 Jose Prieto N. Morrell (Las Campanas Observatory), Benjamin J. Shappee (Carnegie Observatories) ASAS-SN SN Ia 0.037 1 ASAS-SN We report optical spectroscopy (range 370-910 nm) of ASASSN-16fx/AT2016csd using the du Pont 2.5-m telescope (+ WFCCD) at Las Campanas Observatory on UT 2016 June 18.4. We performed a cross-correlation with a library of supernova spectra using the "Supernova Identification" code (SNID; Blondin and Tonry 2007, Ap.J. 666, 1024) and found the spectrum of ASASSN-16fx to be consistent with a normal Type Ia SN at +1 day after maximum light. 2016TNSCR1003....1M
