Stanek (OSU) ASAS-SN SN Ia 0.032 1 ASAS-SN An optical spectrum spectrum of ASASSN-16nn/AT2016ijf was obtained on UT 2016 Nov 25.0 with WFCCD mounted on the du Pont 2.5m telescope at LCO. The spectrum shows that ASASSN-16nn is a Type Ia SN at maximum light. We cross-correlated the spectrum with a library of supernova spectra using the "Supernova Identification" code (SNID; Blondin and Tonry 2007, Ap.J. 666, 1024) and the spectrum of ASASSN-16nn is most consistent with a normal SN Ia at -1 days. The SNID redshift from the SN features is 0.032. 2016TNSCR.986....1P
