D. Xiang, L. Rui, X. Wang(THU), Y. Yang(HNU), S. Liu(NAOC), T. Zhang(NAOC), J. Zhang(YNAO) report/s a classification of object: SN 2017ekr
Type: SN Ia
The following Classification spectrum was provided:
Obsdate: 2017-06-03 18:17:16
Instrument: Cassegrain
Telescope: 2.16m Beijing Astronomical Observatory Telescope
Remarks: A spectrum taken on UT Jun. 03.76 2017 indicates that this transient is consistent with a type Ia supernova near maximum light, with redshift of 0.012 by SNID.The flux calibration may be inaccurate since a flux standard star on another observation night near the OT position is used.
Details of the object and its spectra can be viewed here: https://www.wis-tns.org/object/2017ekr
