The new object is located at RA 00 43 29.46 DEC +41 17 13.7 (equinox 2000.0) Offset 512E 68N. Apparent magnitude about 16.8 R in host Galaxy NGC 224 (M31).

The reported position of AT 2017jdm = PNV J00432946+4117137 is only 0.3" from the He/Nn nova M31N 2007-10b (X-ray source CXO J004329.4+411713 = 3XMM J004329.4+411713). Recurrent nova? ---- Patrick Schmeer (Saarbrücken-Bischmisheim, Germany)
