Michael A. Tucker, Benjamin J. Shappee (IfA, UH Manoa) report/s a classification of object: SN 2018etm

Type: SN Ia
Redshift: 0.026

Remarks: SN Ia near maximum light (SNID phase -1 +/- 8), host galaxy unclear. Straddles 2 SDSS galaxies (http://skyserver.sdss.org/dr13/en/tools/chart/navi.aspx?opt=G&ra=243.586166667&dec=3.23196666667&scale=0.1), matches photoZ at ~2.7sigma for upper right galaxy but inconsistent with other possible host (photoZ > 0.5). SNID redshift = 0.026 +/- 0.006.

The following Classification spectrum was provided:

Obsdate: 2018-08-11 18:58:19
