following the reporters' request.

There has been a visible star at that location for a while. I found it in my archives on 2018-08-06.104. It was then approx mag 17.36. It was 18.39 yesterday.

Confirmation images of AT 2018fhy = (GSNST-2018ac) from 2018-08-16 to 2018-08-20.

Liverpool telescope reports this candidate as "source detected - - too faint" for astrometry. Are the images available? I can't find them.

Indeed, I also have some images taken a few minutes before the first photometric measure of this report. There was no transient down to magnitude 18.5 fifty minutes before.
