Claudio Balcon report/s a classification of object: SN 2019akq
Type: SN IaRedshift: 0.017459
Remarks: Using GELATO (Harutyunyan et al., 2008, A&A, 488, 383) I find good fits to several Type Ia supernovae at the redshift of the host galaxy (z=0.017459; value from NED).
The following Classification spectrum was provided:
Obsdate: 2019-02-23 18:30:03
Instrument: Other
Telescope: Other
Remarks: I obtained the low-resolution spectrum R~100 of AT2019akq using the FOSC-E spectrograph attached to a 0.2m telescope, in the course of Italian Supernovae Search Project.
Details of the object and its spectra can be viewed here: https://www.wis-tns.org/object/2019akq
