Type: SN IaRedshift: 0.035938
Remarks: Spectrum similar to those of several type Ia SNe, with a best match about one week after maximum light. The velocity of the ejecta, as measured from SiII 635.5 nm, is around 10100 km/s, using the redshift of the host galaxy UGC 1227 as reported by Martha at al. 1997 AJ 113 (via NED).
