Daichi Hiramatsu, Jamison Burke, Iair Arcavi, D. Andrew Howell, Curtis McCully, Stefano Valenti report/s a classification of object: SN 2019bse

Type: SN Ia
Redshift: 0.025

Remarks: Using Superfit (Howell et al. 2005, ApJ, 634, 1190) and SNID (Blondin & Tonry 2007, ApJ, 666, 1024), we find good fits to several Type Ia supernovae about a week before maximum at an inferred redshift of 0.025 (no host redshift measurements available on NED). The apparent g-band magnitude reported by ASAS-SN upon discovery on 2019-03-13 08:09:36 was 17.1, which corresponds to an absolute magnitude of -18.1. We measure a Si II 6355 velocity of -12,000 km/s and a Ca II NIR triplet velocity of -22,000 km/s.
