Andrew Howell, Daichi Hiramatsu, Curtis McCully, Stefano Valenti Global SN Project SN Ia-91T-like 0.057 1 Global SN Project Using Superfit (Howell et al. 2005, ApJ, 634, 1190) and SNID (Blondin & Tonry 2007, ApJ, 666, 1024), we find good fits to several 91T-like Type Ia supernovae a few days to a week before maximum. The best-fit redshift from both SNID and Superfit is 0.057. Verification of this redshift is difficult, as the faint host (GALEXASC J114405.72-044028.8) can be seen in archival PanSTARRS images, but does not have a redshift listed in NED. There are also no obvious host spectral lines to measure the redshift. Assuming this redshift, we measure a Si II velocity of about 12,000 km/s and a Ca II velocity of about 13,000 km/s. We measure a B-band absolute magnitude of -19.5 and rising at a similar epoch as the spectrum. The object’s absolute magnitude and dwarf galaxy host indicate that it could be a super-Chandrasekhar event. 2019TNSCR.601....1B
