Daichi Hiramatsu, Jamison Burke, Iair Arcavi, D. Andrew Howell, Curtis McCully, Stefano Valenti report/s a classification of object: SN 2019dwq

Type: SN Ia
Redshift: 0.027631

Remarks: Using Superfit (Howell et al. 2005, ApJ, 634, 1190) and SNID (Blondin & Tonry 2007, ApJ, 666, 1024), we find good fits to several normal Type Ia SNe about a week before maximum at the host redshift (0.027631; 2003SDSS1.C…0000, via NED). The apparent B-band magnitude taken on 2019-04-25 12:43:49 (UT) was 17.6, corresponding to a MW extinction corrected absolute magnitude of -17.8. which is consistent with the Ia classification and its phase. We measure a Si II 6355 velocity of -13,000 km/s.
