The transient approximately located at R.A.=12h11m51.60s +24d08'11".8 (equinox 2000.0). Which is about 12.2" west and 46.8" north of the center of the NGC4162. Nothing is visible at this position on archival images taken on Jan. 11.96336 UT(limiting mag 19.0).
