Date Received (UTC): 2019-07-15 15:21:09 Sender: Dr. Simon Prentice
Group: TCD
S. J. Prentice, K. Maguire, K. Skillen, M. R. Magee (TCD), P. Clark (QUB) report/s a classification of object: SN 2019klk
Type: SN IIRedshift: 0.058
Remarks: Probable SN II given the bump around H alpha. The H alpha may be from the transient or it may be from the host, our low S/N spectrum is far from conclusive. We note that the ZTF light curve is flat in g but still rising in r so it may be an unusual transient.
The following Classification spectrum was provided:
Obsdate: 2019-07-14 21:49:07
Instrument: SPRAT
Telescope: Liverpool Telescope
