Type: SN IInRedshift: 0.00659
Remarks: A 4x750s spectrum with SPRAT on the Liverpool Telescope shows a weak continuum with strong, intermediate-width emission lines of hydrogen (alpha, beta, gamma) and helium. The spectra show good consistency with previous type IIn supernovae (e.g. SN 1988Z), although the inferred luminosity is much lower than typical IIn SNe. The host galaxy is NGC 4045 (z=0.00659).
