Date Received (UTC): 2020-01-13 00:55:52 Sender: Dr. Daniel Perley
Group: ZTF
Daniel Perley (LJMU) on behalf of ZTF report/s a classification of object: SN 2019xau
Type: SN IaRedshift: 0.04
Remarks: Source is consistent with the position of the nucleus of a possibly active galaxy. However the LT/SPRAT spectrum shows clear features of a SN Ia after maximum light, at an approximate redshift of z=0.04.
The following Classification spectrum was provided:
Obsdate: 2020-01-11 01:13:31
Instrument: SPRAT
Telescope: Liverpool Telescope
