Gal-Yam (Weizmann) adH0cc SN II 0.06381 1 adH0cc An optical spectrum of SN 2020cye, obtained on the night of 2020 February 20 with the ESO Very Large Telescope UT1 equipped with the FORS2 spectrograph and grism 300V, shows a blue continuum with weak P-Cygni lines of hydrogen and helium superimposed, characteristic of a young Type II supernova. From the spectroscopic appearance and the photometric constraints, we estimate a phase about 9d after explosion. 2020TNSCR.585....1S
