Patrick Wiggins report/s the discovery of a new astronomical transient.

IAU Designation: SN 2020dpw
Coordinates (J2000): RA = 20:37:10.720 (309.294667) DEC = +66:06:12.80 (66.103556)
Discovery date: 2020-02-26 10:01:22.000 (JD=2458905.9176157)

Potential host galaxy: NGC 6952

Remarks: P. Wiggins, Tooele, UT, USA, reports his discovery of a possible supernova (mag ~17.0) on an unfiltered CCD frame taken 2020 Feb 26 10:01:22 UT using a 0.35-m f/5.5 reflector near Erda, UT, USA. The new object is located at R.A. 20h37m10.72s, Decl. +66°06'12.80" (equinox 2000.0), about 22” SW of the center of NGC 6952. Wiggins notes that nothing was visible at this position on an image taken the day before, however the seeing then was very poor.
