Potential host galaxy: NGC6214

Remarks: The OMB-supernova monitoring in ISSP collaboration, R.Belligoli, F.Castellani, C.Marangoni, F.Marziali reports the discovery of a PSN J16393220+6602141 in NGC6214 by a Moravian G4-9000 KAF unfiltered CCD frames taken on '2020-04-12T03:21:49' UT on the 0.4m f.8 Ritchey-Chrétien telescope. The object observed is located at RA= '16 39 32.19' DEC= '+66 02 14.01' (equinox 2000.0) Offset 2"W 9"S from the center of NGC6214 galaxy (see link to discovery image below). Apparent magnitude 17.0 Clear (err +/- 0,5).

Photometry

Discovery (first detection):
Discovery date: 2020-04-12 03:21:49.000
Flux: 17 STMag
Filter: Clear-
Instrument: Other
Telescope: Other

Remarks: The PSN J16393220+6602141 was clearly detected on '2020-04-12.1401' UT using using 3 x 30s frames (90s total) obtained by a Moravian G4-9000 KAF unfiltered CCD with the 0.4m f.8 Ritchey-Chrétien telescope from Monte Baldo "A.Gelodi" Astronomic Observatory, località Novezzina, Ferrara di Monte Baldo, Verona, Italy. The discovery magnitude is 17.0±0.5 mag in the CV band (clear visual). We will continue to monitor the PSN light curve and strongly encourage additional follow-up observations.
