Type: SN Ia
Redshift: 0.071

Remarks: Using Superfit (Howell et al. 2005, ApJ, 634, 1190) and SNID (Blondin & Tonry 2007, ApJ, 666, 1024), we find best fits to SNe Ia near maximum light. We identify the host galaxy as WISEA J104135.15-032629.5, and we estimate the redshift to be 0.071 based on the snid fits. Adopting this redshift, we measure a Si II 6355 velocity of approximately 10,000 km/s. Adopting the distance modulus computed from this redshift (37.5) and correcting for Milky Way extinction, the g-band absolute magnitude of this object roughly coeval with the spectrum is -19.1. This speed and absolute magnitude is consistent with an SN Ia near maximum light.
