95882021-05-09 20:58:52smoranShane Moran, Rubina Kotak, Claudia Gutiérrez (University of Turku)NoneImpostor-SNOn behalf of a larger collaboration, the authors report a spectroscopic classification of AT 2021lao (17:14:05.561 +35:32:31.79), reported as a new transient by the ATLAS collaboration. The spectrum matches supernova impostor spectra in the SNID classification tool (https://people.lam.fr/blondin.stephane/software/snid/). We note the presence of a coincident source in SDSS DR16 imaging of the location. The observations were carried out on 2021-05-06 03:51:32.768 at the 3.58 m Telescopio Nazionale Galileo (http://www.tng.iac.es) using the DOLORES instrument with the LR-B grism (range 300-843 nm).2021TNSCR1544....1M
