Andrew Howell, Curtis McCully, Estefania Padilla Gonzalez, Craig Pellegrino, Giacomo TerreranGlobal SN ProjectSN I0.03Global SN ProjectUsing NID (Blondin & Tonry 2007, ApJ, 666, 1024), we find best fits to Sne I at early phases if assuming a redshift of z=0.03. These fits point to a type Ia, as matched by apparent Si II 6355 at a velocity of 10,000 km/s and Ca II velocity at 25,000 km/s. However, the blue side is suppressed, shifting the peak past 5000A, unexpected for a type Ia. This along with a possible but faint presence of oxygen could point to a classification of a Ic. The object has risen from an r-band magnitude of 18.0 (ZTF) to 17.6 (LCO) in one day, highlighting its fast nature, and exists in a region with no observed host.2022TNSCR1274....1N
