Remarks: The low S/N spectrum shows a blue, featureless continuum, which is not compatible with a Classical Nova in M31. We propose the object to be a foreground Cataclysmic Variable

Remarks: I obtained the low-resolution spectrum R~100 using the FOSC-ES32 spectrograph attached to a 0.2m telescope, in the course of Italian Supernovae Search Project.
