Andrew Howell, Curtis McCully, Craig Pellegrino, Megan Newsome, Giacomo Terreran Global SN Project SN Ia 0.02 1 Global SN Project Using Superfit (Howell et al. 2005, ApJ, 634, 1190) and SNID (Blondin & Tonry 2007, ApJ, 666, 1024), we find best fits to SNe Ia before maximum light, including SN 2002bo and SN 2004eo about 2 weeks before maximum. The supernova is closest to 0.02 from SNID with Si II 6355 velocity of approximately 18,000 km/s. Adopting the luminosity distance computed from this redshift (87.5 Mpc ) ; the cyan-ATLAS absolute magnitude of the object is -17.2(apparent magnitude 17.5 from ZTF) on the rise. This absolute magnitude and velocity is consistent with an SN Ia near maximum light. 2023TNSCR2054....1G
