Claudio Balcon (Belluno A.O. ISSP) report/s a classification of object: SN 2024aaur
Type: SN IaRedshift: 0.020171
Remarks: GELATO (Harutyunyan et al., 2008, A&A, 488, 383) suggests that this spectrum resembles that of a type Ia supernova about 8-10 days before the maximum at the redshift of the host galaxy, value from NED.
The following Classification spectrum was provided:
Obsdate: 2024-11-10 04:10:00
Instrument: Other
Telescope: Other
Remarks: We obtained the low-resolution spectrum R~100 using the FOSC-E5535 spectrograph attached to a 0.41m telescope, in the course of Italian Supernovae Search Project.
