Type: SLSN-I
Redshift: 0.402

Remarks: 2024lch was selected as a possible SLSN-I by our FLEET program with a P(SLSN-I) = 65% (Gomez et al., 2020, ApJ, 904, 74). The redshift of z = 0.402 was determined from Mg absorption lines. We find a best match to the SLSN 2015bn about 5 days after peak. At this redshift the peak magnitude of the SN is M_r ~ -22.0, squarely in the SLSN regime.
