Andrew Howell, Curtis McCully None SN Ia 0.043257 1 Using SNID (Blondin & Tonry 2007, ApJ, 666, 1024), we find best fits to SNe Ia near maximum light, including SN 2006cf 3 days after peak. The supernova is in MCG-01-06-068 (z = 0.043257, 2012ApJS..199...26H:, value from NED). Adopting this redshift we measure a Si II 6355 velocity of approximately 11,000 km/s. The g-band absolute magnitude of the object roughly coeval with the spectrum is -19.2 (apparent magnitude 17.2, from ZTF). This absolute magnitude and velocity is consistent with an SN Ia near maximum light. 2024TNSCR4337....1N
