Flavio Castellani report/s the discovery of a new astronomical transient.

IAU Designation: AT 2025ajgh
Coordinates (J2000): RA = 00:42:58.480 (10.743667) DEC = +41:08:11.40 (41.1365)
Discovery date: 2025-12-28 18:22:08.000 (JD=2461038.2653704)

Potential host galaxy: M31

Remarks: Flavio Castellani report the discovery by F.Castellani, R.Belligoli and V.Andreoli of a PNV (Mag. 18.9R +-0.20 – GAIA DR3 catalogue) in the host galaxy M31 at Monte Baldo Observatory, Ferrara di Monte Baldo, Verona, Italy (A99), in the course of Italian Supernovae Search Project using a 0.40m f/7 Dall-Kirkham telescope (+ Moravian G4-9000 KAF unfiltered CCD camera)20*180 co-added images. No stellar source was visible at the position of the transient in our past images including reference image dated 2025/12/22 20:58:02 and 2025/12/27 17:43:01. Position of the object is close to AT 2025aeum, identified as a possible eruption of the recurrent nova M31N 1963-09c. The difference of 0.74S East and 1.1" South as well as a careful verification of the position of the transient from the PanStarrs and the images of the reports leads to exclude that it is the same object.
