The outburst amplitude and color change, however, are more extreme than typical AGN variability, suggesting the possibility of a TDE flare occuring within the AGN. The spectrum taken during the outburst is dominated by strong Hα and Hβ emission while high-ionization lines ([O III], [N II]) are weak during the outburst. This places the host in the star-forming region of the BPT diagram, though this may be biased by the transient contribution to Balmer lines. The FWHM~900 km/s derived from the Hα component is narrower than expected for typical TDEs.
