Abstract:
We report a transient classification selected by the Tidal Disruption Event pipeline

We report a transient (AT2024ljd) selected by the Tidal Disruption Event  (TDE) pipeline currently being integrated as a science module in the Fink broker (Möller et al. 2021). After identifying this object as a TDE candidate, we performed a spectroscopic follow-up campaign with the CMO-2.5m telescope (Shatsky et al. 2020). The spectrum obtained on 28 June 2024 corresponds to a Type Ia Supernova with the best-match SNID (Blondin & Tonry 2007) template SN2006N (Ia-norm) with a phase of 6.5 days. This SN Ia exploded in an elliptical galaxy (z=0.046), making it a good candidate for a “pure” Type Ia Supernova (Pruzhinskaya et al., 2011).
