GOTO-FAST spectroscopic classifications of optical transients

Abstract:
This report includes classifications of 3 Type Ia SNe and 1 Type Ia-91bg-like SN.

GOTO-FAST (AstroNote 2023-224) reports the classifications of the following optical transients. The observations were obtained on the Isaac Newton Telescope (INT) on the night of 2024 Feb 04 using the IDS spectrograph with R150V grating (3950-7900 Å, R ~600). The transients were classified using SNID (Blondin & Tonry 2007).

Targets were supplied by the Gravitational-wave Optical Transient Observer GOTO (Steeghs et al. 2022), ATLAS survey (Smith et al. 2020), the Zwicky Transient Facility ZTF (Bellm et al. 2019). SN2024bci was first reported by the volunteer citizen scientists of the GOTO Kilonova Seekers project.
