Andrew Howell, Curtis McCully, Megan Newsome, Estefania Padilla Gonzalez, Giacomo Terreran Global SN Project SN II 0.023 1 Global SN Project Using Superfit (Howell et al. 2005, ApJ, 634, 1190) and SNID (Blondin & Tonry 2007, ApJ, 666, 1024), we find best fits to SNe II, including SN 2006bp approximately 35 days after explosion. The supernova is closest to ESO 552- G 038 (z = 0.022629, 20096dF...C...0000J; value from NED). This redshift is well-matched by the peak of the strong Halpha feature in the spectrum. The ATLAS light curve shows a plateau lasting at least 30 days, consistent with the phase estimate from the SNID fit. 2023TNSCR2134....1P
