Second image in seven frames 300-sec on 2016 December 27.8726 The new object is located at RA 00 41 31.56 DEC +41 07 13.9 (equinox 2000.0) Offset 199.6E 54.5N . Apparent magnitude about 16.2 R in host Galaxy NGC224 (M31). No known minor planets, brighter than V = 20.0, were found in the 15.0-arcminute region around R.A. = 0 43 57.01, Decl. = +41 19 49.3 (J2000.0) on 2016 12 27.73 UT. Number of objects checked = 820025. Nothing is visible at this position Aladin catalog. Also nothing is visible at this position on 14th-18th-21th Dicember 2016 our frames as reference's and last frame taken on '2016-12-24T17:01:33. The transient is at mag 16.9 (UCAC4-V for ref). The Minor Planet Checker reports no asteroid known at this location at this time. The object is very close to M31N 2007-11f 2016TNSTR1087....1C N

Classification

According to ATel #9942, this nova is a member of the narrow-lined He/N class.
According to ATel #10001, M31N 2016-12e is the same eruption as M31N 2007-11f. Thus this nova is a new recurrent nova in M31.
