2272 2018-07-15 08:30:08 Jose Prieto L. Khlat (ENS-Lyon), J. L. Prieto (UDP), S. Dong (KIAA-PKU) ASAS-SN SN II 0.012378 1 ASAS-SN We obtained an optical low-resolution spectrum of supernovae candidates on UT 2018 July 15 with WFCCD mounted on the du Pont 2.5m telescope at Las Campanas Observatory. The spectrum of ASASSN-18lv/AT2018cgj is that of a Type IIP supernova after maximum light. SNID (Blondin & Tonry 2007) gives a best fit age of +45.0 days after maximum light and z=0.012 as the redshift, consistent with the host galaxy redshift. 2018TNSCR.988....1K
