ASAS-SN

We obtained an optical low-resolution spectrum of supernovae candidates on UT 2018 July 15 with WFCCD mounted on the du Pont 2.5m telescope at Las Campanas Observatory. The spectrum of SN2018ddr is that of a Type IIb before maximum light. SNID (Blondin & Tonry 2007) gives a best fit age of -11.6 days before maximum light and z=0.019 as the redshift, consistent with the host galaxy redshift.
