Type: SN IaRedshift: 0.041
Remarks: We obtained an optical low-resolution spectrum of supernovae candidates on UT 2018 July 15 with WFCCD mounted on the du Pont 2.5m telescope at Las Campanas Observatory. The spectrum of ASASSN-18oo/AT2018dei is that of a Type Ia-norm supernova after maximum light. SNID (Blondin & Tonry 2007) gives a best fit age of +4.2 days after maximum light and z=0.041 as the redshift.
