H. Lin, D. Xiang, L. Rui, X. Wang(THU), F. Xiao, J. Ren(NAOC), T. Zhang(NAOC), J. Zhang(YNAO) report/s a classification of object: SN 2018dx
Type: SN IaRedshift: 0.06
The following Classification spectrum was provided:
Obsdate: 2018-01-11 18:03:10
Instrument: Cassegrain
Telescope: 2.16m Beijing Astronomical Observatory Telescope
Remarks: Cross-correlation with a library of supernova spectra using the "Supernova Identification" code (SNID; Blondin and Tonry 2007, Ap.J., 666, 1024) indicates that this transient is consistent with a type Ia supernova about a few days before maximum light.
