Remarks: Using Gelato (Harutyunyan et al., 2008, A&A, 488, 383) and DASH (https://github.com/daniel-muthukrishna/astrodash), the transient spectrum matches several pre-peak SNe Ic-6/7 (Prentice & Mazzali, 2017). The best match is to Ic-7 SN 2005az less than a week before maximum light.
