Stanek (OSU) ASAS-SN SN Ia 1 ASAS-SN We report optical spectroscopic observations of the ASASSN-18ar/AT2018hv obtained on UT 2018 Jan 16.14 with FAST (range 3600-7450 Angstroms) mounted on the F. L. Whipple Observatory 1.5-m telescope. We used SNID (Blondin & Tonry, 2007, ApJ, 666, 1024) to aid with the type, phase and redshift determination. ASASSN-18ao is a Type Ia SN around peak with strong host galaxy contamination. 2018TNSCR..81....1F
