Group: ASAS-SN
J. L. Prieto (UDP/MAS), J. Rupert (MDM), S. Dong, P. Chen (KIAA-PKU), J. Shields, K. Z. Stanek (OSU) report/s a classification of object: SN 2018zf
Type: SN IIRedshift: 0.01905
Remarks: We obtained an optical spectrum of ASASSN-18el on UT 2018 Mar 9.5 with OSMOS mounted on the MDM 2.4m telescope at KPNO. The spectrum has a blue continuum with blue weak and broad Balmer lines in emission, consistent with a young Type II SN. The redshift of the host galaxy obtained from nebular emission lines is z=0.01905.
The following Classification spectrum was provided:
Obsdate: 2018-03-09 12:31:11
