M A Tucker, A V Payne, A Do, M E Huber, B J Shappee (IfA UH Manoa) report/s a classification of object: SN 2019cmz
Type: SN Ia-pecRedshift: 0.07
Remarks: SN Ia displaying a typical absorption profile to normal SNe Ia except the absorption profiles are systematically shallower and narrower than those of normal SNe Ia, especially the SiII and CaII line profiles. These differences aside, the spectrum resembles that of a SN Ia roughly a week after maximum.
The following Classification spectrum was provided:
Obsdate: 2019-04-06 09:48:23
Instrument: SNIFS
Telescope: UH 88inch
Remarks: Reduced with a summit-based quick-reduction pipeline.
