Group: Global SN Project
Daichi Hiramatsu, Iair Arcavi, Jamison Burke, D. Andrew Howell, Curtis McCully, Stefano Valenti report/s a classification of object: SN 2019ehg
Type: SN IaRedshift: 0.042
Remarks: Using Superfit (Howell et al. 2005, ApJ, 634, 1190) and SNID (Blondin & Tonry 2007, ApJ, 666, 1024), we find good fits to several normal Type Ia SNe about 2-3 weeks after maximum at the inferred redshift of 0.042 (no host redshift measurement is available on NED). We measure a Si II 6355 velocity of -7,000 km/s.
The following Classification spectrum was provided:
Obsdate: 2019-05-21 13:50:56
Instrument: FLOYDS-S
