Group: None
I. Perez-Fournon (IAC), C. Jimenez Angel (IAC), F. Poidevin (IAC), R. Shirley (IAC), R. Marques-Chaves (CAB), Y. Shu (IoA), S. Rodney (Univ. of South Carolina), J. Roberts-Pierel (Univ. of South Carolina), A. Bolton (NOAO), S. Chakrabarti (RIT), and B. Lewis (RIT) report/s a classification of object: SN 2019ikc
Type: SN IaRedshift: 0.118
Remarks: Comparison with several libraries of spectra with SNID (S. Blondin, & J. L. Tonry 2007, ApJ, 666, 1024) shows that this is likely a type Ia SN at z =0.118 +/- 0.007. The phase is a few days before maximum. Using DASH (Deep Learning for the Automated Spectral Classification of Supernovae and their Hosts, D. Muthukrishna, D. Parkinson, and B. Tucker, arXiv:1903.02557), the best match is with Ia-91T at z=0.1228 +/- 0.0968 -6 to -2 days before maximum.
The following Classification spectrum was provided:
Obsdate: 2019-07-10 03:38:55
