Date Received (UTC): 2019-08-28 18:01:33 Sender: Dr. Daichi Hiramatsu
Group: Global SN Project
Daichi Hiramatsu, Iair Arcavi, Jamison Burke, D. Andrew Howell, Curtis McCully, Craig Pellegrino, Stefano Valenti report/s a classification of object: SN 2019mxk
Type: SN IaRedshift: 0.056336
Remarks: Using Superfit (Howell et al. 2005, ApJ, 634, 1190), we find good fits to several normal Type Ia SNe around three weeks after maximum at the host redshift (0.056336; 20096dF...C...0000J, via NED).
The following Classification spectrum was provided:
Obsdate: 2019-08-28 12:12:59
Instrument: FLOYDS-N
Telescope: Faulkes Telescope North
