The transient approximately located at R.A.=09h55m48.42s +69d07'32".5 (equinox 2000.0). Which is about 81.8" east and 217.4" north of the center of the M81. Nothing is visible at this position on archival images taken on Jan. 28.58455 UT(limiting mag 20.0).
