Type: SN IIRedshift: 0.014637
Remarks: This spectrum displays a blue continuum with an Hα P Cygni profile present at the redshift of the host galaxy IC 4830 (z = 0.014637; 1992ApJS...81..413M, value from NED). As such we classify it as a young type II SN, and encourage further followup.
