Type: SN Ia
Remarks: A spectrum obtained with the Nordic Optical Telescope equipped with ALFOSC indicates that SN 2020gxp is a Type-Ia supernova around maximum light. The spectrum is similar to other transitional Type Ia supernova such as SN 2007on. The spectrum exhibits prevalent features associated with O-I and the Ca-II near-infrared triplet.
